Blend Media Group presents Cuban pianist and composer David Virelles’ highly anticipated album release Continuum, featuring Jazz legend Andrew Cyrille (drums), Ben Street (bass), Roman Diaz (percussion/poetry) and renowned Cuban sculptor/painter Alberto Lescay, joined by special guests Mark Turner (saxophone), Roman Filiu (saxophone) and Jonathan Finlayson (trumpet).
During this intimate event, David Virelles will give an exclusive performance of his highly anticipated US debut album Continuum, followed by an after-party featuring Grammy award winning musician, TV personality and music aficionado Ahmir ‘?uestlove’ Thompson, who will be spinning rare tunes. David Virelles’ fans will have the chance to purchase Continuum CDs and LPs, as well as limited edition posters of the album artwork. New York City will be David Virelles first stop promoting this historic record.
