Reggie Quinerly at Jazz At The Crypt Series at Jazz At The Crypt at the Church of the Intercession





The New York Times describes Reggie as a "drummer and composer of swinging disposition". Originally from Houston, Texas he has been a thriving member of New York's music scene working with such musicians as Branford Marsalis and Von Freeman in addition to releasing his debut recording, "Music Inspired by Freedmantown" .
This special Black History themed performance incorporates original material while also highlighting musical masters such as Duke Ellington and Billy Strayhorn. The group features vocalist Sarah Elizabeth Charles, pianist Jesse Elder and bassist Steve Whipple.
