Award-winning jazz composer, arranger and saxophonist with a storied career playing and arranging for a long list of jazz icons including Jon Hendricks and Wynton Marsalis performs his originals and interprets classics such as Donald Byrd's "El Dorado" (written by his uncle, Mitch Farber) with this virtuoso clan of emerging and landed musicians. Since 1994, Farber has been part of the Jazz @ Lincoln Center stable of writers and performers, leads his 17-piece orchestra, heads the BMI Jazz Composers, teaches arranging and composing at Julliard, and scores for TV and film projects.
