Arts for Art is excited to announce the first Latin Free Jazz Festival. This new program is meant to challenge the reductive "Latin Jazz" label by using it as a programming premise, and proving it insufficient through the diversity of voices and approaches.
The featured artists are representative of Mexico, Cuba, Brazil, Puerto Rico, & Spain.
But most of all they represent themselves. They play music that they hear inside which goes far beyond national borders.
