Returning to Barbès after a six month hiatus, the quartet will play a set of original jazz music, inspired by things like Czech folklore, poor Amtrak service, Jersey swimming holes, John Carpenter movies, portentous budget documents from right before the economic collapse, crime reports of the late 19th Century, personal experiences of déjà vu, love, death, taxes, and various other things that might not be apparent since the music is all instrumental. Featuring Ben Holmes (trumpet), Curtis Hasselbring (trombone), Vinnie Sperrazza (drums) and Matt Pavolka (bass).
