About

Jerron Paxton is a stunningly talented multi-instrumentalist who specializes in the sounds of the 1920 and 30s, playing banjo, guitar, piano, fiddle, harmonica, Cajun accordion and percussion. Influenced by Fats Waller and “Blind Lemon” Jefferson, this young musician (still in his 20s), incorporates humor and storytelling into his shows. He’s a regular on jazz and blues stages around the world and has opened for legends like Buddy Guy and Robert Cray.

The 2021 Rooted In The Blues Live From Dizzy's performance series is made possible by Jody and John Arnhold.
