Founded by Anne H. Pollack in 2013, Crossing Points Arts is a unique NYC nonprofit organization solely dedicated to providing experiential arts workshops to survivors of trafficking. Launches its seventh year, Crossing Point Arts is a growing initiative that provides trafficking survivors with free workshops in the arts. Teaching Artists, trained in dealing with trauma, provide workshops in NYC’s anti-trafficking agencies throughout NYC. Craig Handy & Second Line Smith
Composer, saxophonist and multi-instrumentalist, Craig Handy (who will be performing with his group: Craig Handy & 2nd Line Smith) presents the World Premier of “Liberation Journey,” a work focussed on the scourge of human trafficking and specifically, survivors of sex trafficking. This performance is made possible with support from Chamber Music America’s 2017 New Jazz Works Program and funded through the generosity of the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation.
