CPR ELECTRIO - Russell Carter, Ondrej Pivec & Karel Ruzicka at Czech Center New York

The CPR ELECTRIO is a newly formed project of 3 seasoned New York-based musicians. The drummer Russell Carter from Washington DC, among others, currently performs in a band of world renowned Fred Thomas (James' Brown bassist), saxophonist Karel Ruzicka currently regularly performs with pop legend Michael Franks and appears on more than 100 recordings of all musical genres. The core of the project, award-winning organist/keyboardist Ondrej Pivec is well known among music enthusiasts all over Europe and has performed with many projects all over the world.

The sound of the band uniquely combines acoustic instruments with synthesizers, electronic saxophone and digital drum-pads. The result is an upbeat, contemporary-sounding music, that is well received by audiences in clubs and concert venues.
