Romero has worked with some of world's finest guitarists, including Al Di Meola,Paco de Lucia and John Mclauglin. Co-Producing the album The Guitar TRiO In 1990, Romero produced and played on Di Meola Plays Piazzola , beginning a fertile association with Di Meola that resulted in nine other albums.
Dario Boente:
The term "crossover artist" can mean many things. In the case of argentine pianist and composer Dario Boente, it means a musician who is equally at home performing romantic Argentine and jazz compositions on a grand piano, as he is programming world-beat electronica.
Boente has released seven Cd’s as a leader, featuring well know Jazz musicians as three time Grammy Award winner Antonio Sanchez on drums, guitarist Ronny Jordan, Saxophonist Miguel Zenon, and flutist Jorge Pardo, and performed piano duets with Dave Kikoski and Richie Beirach.
As a side man, Dario has played and/or recorded with guitarrist Ronny Jordan, Grammy winning Louie Vega’s “Elements of Life” band, Percussionist Luisito Quintero, William Cepeda, Pablo Aslan, Ximo Tebar, Mino Cinelu, Craig Handy, Frank Lacy’s “13 Piece Band” Victor Jones’s “Culturversy.” dj's Louie Vega, Mr V and producer Kerri Chandler and played keyboards on Big Joe Turner’s European tour.
Dario has performed in more than 20 countries worldwide and his compositions have been included in more than twenty albums and compilations.
