Iris Ornig’s new project 'THE IO-5' highlights all the members – Jeremy Powell on sax, Dave Smith on trumpet, Daisuke Abe on guitar and Ronen Itzik on drums- in a mixed program of straight ahead and contemporary jazz originals and well-chosen pop covers. Ornig’s compositions are strikingly fresh, original and of the moment.
