Vocalist, musician, arranger and composer Paul Jost brings his special magic to Jazz at Kitano with his select trio of musicians: Jim Ridl, piano, Dean Johnson, bass, and Tim Horner, drums. Jost has been performing worldwide with recent tours in South Korea and Ireland and a performance in Germany at the JazzAhead international conference and expo. His CD 'Breaking Through' (Dot Time Records) has been getting raves worldwide. His solo CD Breaking Through (Dot Time Records) continues to receive raves worldwide. He has two CD’s being released in the fall of 2017 by Dot Time Records. “Peace and Love” is a CD coming out September 8 by The Jost Project. The other, to be released October 27, is “Born to Run Reimagined.” Paul can be heard on SiriusXM Radio. He is honored that one of his original songs, “Book Faded Brown”, was recorded by The Band, Rick Danko and Carl Perkins. Paul’s vocals are so soulful that music journalist Buster Maxwell wrote, 'He nearly single-handedly reclaims the male voice as a valid and critically important jazz instrument.' Peter McLaren in Jazz in Europe reviewed Jost’s recording Breaking Through and said, “Paul Jost has shown that he is a force to be reckoned with and an artist that deserves to be seen on all great festival stages worldwide.”...
