Vocalist Paul Jost returns to 55 in his monthly residency to celebrate the end of 2017 and the coming New Year of 2018. Jost has been performing worldwide with recent tours in South Korea and Ireland and a performance in Germany at the JazzAhead international conference and expo. His solo CD Breaking Through (Dot Time Records) continues to receive raves worldwide. And his “Peace and Love” coming with the group TJP (formerly The Jost Project) received enthusiastic acclaim on its release in New York last month. Paul can be heard on SiriusXM Radio. He is honored that one of his original songs, “Book Faded Brown”, was recorded by The Band, Rick Danko and Carl Perkins. Paul’s vocals are so soulful that music journalist Buster Maxwell wrote, 'He nearly single-handedly reclaims the male voice as a valid and critically important jazz instrument.' Peter McLaren in Jazz in Europe reviewed Jost’s recording Breaking Through and said, “Paul Jost has shown that he is a force to be reckoned with and an artist that deserves to be seen on all great festival stages worldwide.”...
