Ron McClure at Jazz at Kitano

Ron currently resides in NYC and is a faculty member at New York University's Jazz Studies Program, which has been his home base for 14 years. He continues to work as a free-lance bassist and has his own quartet featuring: Bob DeVos on guitar, Jed Levy on Tenor Sax and Jeff Brillinger on Drums. They have two Cds on Steeplechase records: Bob DeVos on guitar, Jed Levy on Tenor Sax and Jeff Brillinger on Drums. They have two Cds on Steeplechase records: MATCH POINT and AGE OF PEACE, have performed at NYC's Blue Note, NJPAC and at Trumpet's, both in New Jersey. When Ron is not traveling around the world, teaching or playing with his group, he plays his solo piano gig at McDonald's at 160 Broadway in Manhattan several days per week....
