About

Immigration Booth is a chord-less quartet led by German-born bassist Johannes Felscher, who has been a part of the New York music scene for nearly a decade and Cologne-based saxophonist and clarinetist Johannes Ludwig.

The group is presenting their debut album ‘Hinterm Spiegel’ as well as brand-new compositions to a New York audience for the first time after multiple tours across Europe.

It merges hypnotic loops with a faint sense of melancholy and eruptive dialogues between the feisty rhythm section and the unusual yet luring combination of lead voices: bass clarinet and alto clarinet / alto saxophone....
