WP jazz alumnus, drummer Jaimeo Brown, has a career that crisscrosses jazz, rap, and R&B. He has performed with such musicians as Stevie Wonder, Carlos Santana, Q-Tip, and Greg Osby, among others. His groundbreaking band Transcendance celebrates music of the African diaspora, through melody, improvisation, rhythm, and spoken word. Joined by saxophonist Jaleel Shaw and fellow WP alumnus, guitarist Chris Sholar, and guests, this concert promises to be a riveting and deeply memorable experience.
