The Jazz Journalists Association is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization of writers, photographers, broadcasters, videographers and new media professionals covering jazz. Its programs include the annual JJA Jazz Awards, celebrations of Jazz Heroes during JazzApril, which is its media campaign to highlight local activities during Jazz Appreciation Month running up to International Jazz Day, Talking Jazz webinars and eyeJAZZ video training sessions. The JJA often holds workshops and panel discussions at jazz industry conferences, besides hosting an annual Awards party in New York City. All About Jazz & Jazz Near You were built to promote jazz music: both recorded and live events. We rely primarily on venues, festivals and musicians to promote their events through our platform.
