Celebrating a 60 plus year career in jazz, down from the post Bebop era up until today, legendary percussionist Joe Chambers newest CD Samba de Maracatu on Blue Note Records showcases many of his talents on drums, piano, vibraphone, marimba, and composer. Joe Chambers has played with who's who in the world of jazz including Bobby Hutcherson, Wayne Shorter, Miles Davis, Freddie Hubbard, Chick Corea, Herbie Hancock and many others.

Join Gwen Black/Walking In The Spirit Productions and the Jazz Foundation of America for a Virtual New CD Release Celebration on Thur. Feb. 25th @ 7 pm with special invited guests from the music world who will be reflecting on Joe's stellar career along with a live candid conversation with Joe Chambers as he discusses his legacy and his work. ...
