The 18-piece Illuminati Orchestra has a rich 30-year NYC history and a much-documented national reputation for both its original music and its critically-praised arrangements of Grateful Dead music, under the composing/arranging pen of Joe Gallant, the group’s Emmy-winning bassist, founder and leader. This gig at Club Bonafide features Joe's jazz/chamber/grooveadelic arrangements of Grateful Dead music and originals, many of which have been recorded for Illuminati's 7 CD releases, including large-scale complete reworkings of the Dead's "Blues for Allah" and "Terrapin Station" albums.
A deep body-mind experience is guaranteed.
