Grammy nominated arranger and pianist Nat Adderley Jr. visits Roscoe’s Room of Alvin and Friends Restaurant, bringing his close-knit, swinging quartet for jazz renditions of standards and R & B classics. Adderley — formerly Musical Director for Luther Vandross — comes from a famous jazz family (father Nat Sr. was trumpeter in a group led by his uncle Cannonball Adderley), so he’s returned to his roots and may sing too. Playing with Adderley will be Vincent Herring on alto saxophone, Kenny Davis on bass and and Greg Bufford on drums. Two seatings, 7:30 and 9:30 PM; tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door.
