Nadje Noordhuis and James Shipp have been playing intimate duo concerts together since May of 2012. The blending of their warm and ringing sounds gives rise to a world of beauty, drama, exploration, and mystery.
Michele Zayla has a powerful voice. Power not only in her ability to fill a room with beautiful sound, but to turn heads with a subtle, delightful inflection and invoke a flush of goosebumps. From the soaring lead vocals of Pink Floyd’s “The Great Gig in the Sky” to Duke Ellington’s swinging “I’m Beginning to See the Light,” Zayla moves effortlessly through a hundred years of popular music while boldly stepping into performing her original songs.
