Purple Rose Records is an independent music label owned by 2x Grammy™ nominee Martha Wash. It's all about the music and the artists at Purple Rose. Purple Rose Records was started to produce and release my own music as well as help up and coming singers and songwriters to express their talents. As an artist, I was the lead singer for Black Box, C&C Music Factory, and a member of The Weather Girls. With these groups, I had #1 hits like “Everybody Everybody”, “Gonna Make You Sweat (Everybody Dance Now)”, and “It’s Raining Men”. With DJ Tony Moran, I had a #1 Billboard Dance hit with “Keep Your Body Working” and have recently returned to the Billboard Dance Charts with my #2 hit, “I'm Not Coming Down”
