The Urban Meadow is proud to present for the 3rd year the Red Hook Jazz Festival. Families are encouraged to bring their friends and family and have a picnic in the Meadow. Parents are encouraged to bring their children as well to expose them to the great American tradition of jazz music. A donation of $5 is suggested for adults, children are admitted free. (All proceeds go to support activities at the Urban Meadow, a community garden under the auspices of the New York City Parks Department, Greenthumb Community Gardens Division.)
