The downtown New York bred string quartet, Sirius Quartet, is bringing a different kind of experience through their centuries-old setup. Having recently worked with the likes of Billy Martin, Linda Oh, Steve Wilson, Ivo Perelman, Matt Shipp, Sirius is presenting its ongoing project with pianist/composer Uri Caine in their Jazz Gallery debut.

With no Mozart and Beethoven in the mix, they will be performing new original "comprovisations" written by themselves, including a piano quintet by Caine, titled "String Theories".
